Frequently asked questions
Packages and prices
Which package should I choose?
Choose Intensiv for lots of padel, group energy and a lower starting price.
Choose Komfort for a smaller group, better hotel and more personal feedback and recovery.
Choose Exklusive for your own dates, private service and a trip built around your party.
If you are unsure, Alexandra can compare them around what matters most to you.
How much does the trip cost?
Intensiv starts from EUR 1,290 per person and Komfort from EUR 1,890 per person. Exklusive is priced by individual quote.
Dates, room type, traveller count, meal plan and selected activities all affect the final price.
What does a starting price mean?
It is the lowest package price for certain dates and conditions. Your exact price is confirmed after hotels, rooms and the rest of the content have been checked for your dates.
Are flights included?
No. You book flights separately and choose your airport, airline, baggage and times.
Fly to Gran Canaria Airport, LPA.
Can I travel all year?
Trips can be arranged year-round depending on hotels, coaches, courts and other availability. School holidays and Christmas or New Year periods may fill or become more expensive earlier.
How many people are required?
A normal group trip requires at least six participants. Private groups and Exklusive may follow a different quote-based arrangement.
Can we suggest our own dates?
Yes. Friends, companies and private groups can request their own dates. The trip is confirmed only after accommodation, training and other components have been checked.
Padel training
Do I need to be good at padel?
No. Your level helps us create even training groups; it is not used to decide whether you are good enough to join.
Can I join if I have never played?
Yes, if the trip has a suitable beginner group. Tell us you are completely new so the arrangement can be checked before booking.
How are training groups formed?
Before the trip, you describe how long and how often you have played. Experience, pace, technique and match experience guide the first grouping.
Groups can be adjusted after the first session if needed.
How large are the training groups?
Training takes place in small groups of no more than four players. The exact number of players and coaches is confirmed in the itinerary.
How many days do we train?
Trips normally last 5–7 days. Day one is for arrival and check-in; the group then trains every day according to the planned schedule.
Is personal feedback included?
Training includes technical guidance and personal feedback. Individual time depends on the package, group size and training arrangement.
Can match play be organised?
Yes, when there is enough interest and court availability.
What happens if it rains?
Sessions may be moved, adapted or replaced depending on weather, safety and court availability. The trip’s backup plan is described in the itinerary and booking terms.
What happens if I am injured?
Stop training and seek medical care if necessary. Gran Camp can help with practical information but does not diagnose medical conditions.
Compensation or rescheduling depends on the booking terms and your insurance or cancellation cover.
Accommodation, food and transfers
Where do we stay?
Gran Camp is based in southern Gran Canaria.
Intensiv uses accommodation in Bahía Feliz or a comparable area, Komfort uses a higher-standard hotel in San Agustín, and Exklusive accommodation is selected in the personal quote.
The exact hotel and room type are always confirmed before booking.
Can I book a single room?
Single rooms may be available and may carry a supplement. Include the request from the start.
I am travelling alone. Will it feel awkward?
Training and shared activities make it natural to meet the group, while you choose how much time you want alone.
You are never placed in a shared room without a clear agreement.
Can my partner join without playing padel?
It may be possible. Gran Camp must check accommodation, companion price and which activities or meals should be included.
Which meals are included?
This depends on package, hotel and departure. Your quote clearly states whether breakfast, half or full board, all inclusive or other meals are included.
Can vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free food be arranged?
Gran Camp can pass the request to hotels and restaurants, but it is not guaranteed until the supplier confirms it.
For a serious allergy, always contact the team before booking.
How do transfers work?
A transfer may be included depending on package and quote. Before travelling, provide airline, flight number and arrival and departure times.
Night arrivals, delays and special transport needs require separate confirmation.
What if my flight is delayed?
Tell Gran Camp or the transfer provider as soon as possible. A new pickup depends on time, availability and your booking terms.
Excursions and free time
Which activities can be added?
Depending on dates and availability, options may include:
- Roque Nublo and a mountain tour
- Maspalomas dunes
- Puerto de Mogán and the market
- Anfi del Mar
- Las Canteras and Las Palmas
- Poema del Mar
- Jet ski
- Go-kart
- Restaurants and evening plans
Are excursions included?
Only activities expressly listed in the quote or itinerary are included. Others are optional extras or take place in your own time.
Must Roque Nublo be booked in advance?
Yes. Access is regulated and the normal trail requires advance booking during regulated hours. Current rules must be checked before each visit.
Is there time for the beach and my own plans?
Yes. The trip combines training and holiday time. The amount of free time depends on your package and itinerary.
What if an activity is cancelled?
Weather, sea conditions or safety rules may affect activities. The team contacts affected guests and handles changes according to the itinerary and terms.
Booking, payment and changes
How do I book?
- 1Choose a package or ask Alexandra to compare them.
- 2Send dates, traveller count, room and padel level.
- 3Gran Camp checks availability and price.
- 4You receive a written quote with content and terms.
- 5The booking is confirmed according to the quote’s instructions.
Is a request binding?
No. A normal request is used to check price and availability. The quote explains when and how a booking becomes binding.
Is an advance payment required?
It may be required to confirm the booking. The amount and due date are stated in the quote.
How do international payments work?
Payments from some countries may require individual coordination. Gran Camp confirms currency, payment method and instructions before payment.
What if I need to cancel?
Contact the team as soon as possible. Refunds, cancellation fees or rescheduling follow the terms of your booking.
Alexandra may explain the terms but always passes a cancellation case to a person.
Do I need travel insurance?
Valid travel insurance and cancellation cover are recommended. Check that your cover includes padel, selected activities, medical care and possible repatriation.
A European Health Insurance Card is useful but does not replace private travel insurance.
Which travel documents do I need?
Swedish citizens need a valid passport or national identity card issued by the Swedish Police. Driving licences and ordinary ID cards are not valid travel documents for Spain.
Other nationalities must check current rules before booking and departure.
